The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom presents players with numerous hidden challenges spread across the vast kingdom of Hyrule. Among these hidden trials is the Taki Ihaban Shrine, an unique location that shifts the traditional puzzle-solving experience from inside the shrine to the perilous journey required to reach it. Finding this specific subterranean destination requires a keen eye and careful navigation through one of the region's dangerous cave systems.

How to Find the Taki Ihaban Shrine Location

To begin your search for this hidden destination, you must navigate to the Hyrule Ridge region located in the northwestern area of Central Hyrule. The absolute fastest way to reach the vicinity is by fast traveling to the Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower and launching yourself into the air. From this high vantage point, glide slowly toward the southeast in the general direction of the New Serenne Stable while keeping your eyes on the lower rock formations.

As you descend toward the base of Lindor's Brow, you will discover a large opening in the ground known as the Lindor's Brow Cave. Safely drop or dive down into this deep hole, where a pool of water at the bottom ensures a cushioned landing. After swimming out of the water, look for a long, descending tunnel that guides adventurers deeper into the subterranean cavern layout.

Surviving the Gloom Hands Encounter

Following the primary cavern pathway forward eventually brings you to a massive open chamber where the green glow of the shrine can be seen in the distance. However, a major obstacle stands between you and your destination in the form of a roaming pack of Gloom Hands. These terrifying enemies spawn on the lower floor of the cavern and will aggressively pursue anyone who steps into their immediate territory.

If you prefer to avoid a direct confrontation, you can carefully navigate along the upper rocky walls by climbing and gliding. Utilizing a stamina-boosting meal or the unique wind gust ability unlocked from the Rito storyline can provide the extra mobility needed to bypass the danger completely. Reaching the far side of the room allows you to pull yourself up onto the safe stone platform where the structure is situated.

Taki Ihaban Shrine Solution and Rewards

Upon interacting with the green zonai handprint terminal outside, you will successfully unlock the fast travel point and gain entry to the interior. Because the entire challenge of this specific location involves surviving the dangerous trek through the cave, the interior is classified as a Rauru's Blessing style trial. This means there are no complex puzzles, moving platforms, or additional enemies waiting inside for you to defeat.

Simply walk straight up the central staircase to find a single stone treasure chest waiting before the final altar. Opening this chest rewards you with a valuable Large Zonai Charge, which is an excellent item for boosting your energy cell capacity during your global exploration. Finally, proceed to the topmost platform to interact with the final statues and claim your well-deserved Light of Blessing.
